For work today, I wore this J. Crew Keeper chambray shirt with my J. Crew Pixie pants and cap toe pumps (see my "Fab Finds" section). A denim or chambray shirt is the perfect staple piece, because it's super comfortable and versatile. As usual, I cuffed my pants under to give them a tailored look. To liven up the outfit, I added my Leslie Danzis statement necklace and Rimmel London Lasting Finish Pro nail polish in Sunset Orange

For work yesterday, I wore this Cynthia Steffe panel skirt (purchased several years ago on Gilt) with a blouse from Pookie & Sebastian and H&M suede pumps.  Panel skirts are generally very flattering, and I love the neon pattern on this one! I knew I would be wearing plain black stockings and shoes, so I decided to wear a fun (but entirely black) blouse. I like the contrast of a loose blouse with a tighter skirt. I wore a tube top underneath because I did not want to disrupt the eyelet. The black pumps are classic, comfortable and completely affordable.

I wore my classic watch and went with my Rimmel London French Manicure Pro nail polish in French Rose.

For work today, I wore this camel-colored J. Crew Tippi sweater, my army green Jimmy Taverniti jeans (purchased on HauteLook), brown Tory Burch booties and my white J. Crew scarf. The jeans are flattering because they're not too tight and have a nice neutral color. The sweater is a little loose, so I thought it would contrast well with the skinny jeans and knotted scarf. To pick up the faint green of the jeans, I wore one of my favorite bracelets from Coup de Coeur. I thought the white scarf would look nice against the caramel color of the sweater, although a bright scarf (such as this one) would have been fun as well!

For work today, I wore this H&M blazer with my J. Crew Pixie pants, J. Crew perfect-fit long-sleeve tee and black Coach Martta boots. I like the crisp, equestrian style. This look works well for petite women because there's nothing too loose, too busy, etc.  The blazer is classic, yet has nice details. The boots hit below the knee, keeping my proportions intact. I love the gold hardware on them! To add some color to the outfit, I wore my Amrita Singh Deauville ring (from Ideeli).

For work yesterday, I wore this Necessary Objects striped shirt (purchased at Dor L'Dor) with green skinny jeans from Forever 21, a pink pashmina and Pour La Victoire studded boots. I thought it would be fun to pair the black and white with some spring colors. The shirt's dolman sleeves and ruching make it flattering and give it nice detail. Even though the jeans are a bright green color, the shade is dark enough for winter. As with all jeans, I pull down on the cuffs to smooth out any wrinkles.

As a finishing touch, I painted my nails with several coats of  Rimmel London French Manicure Pro nail polish in French Rose. The pale frosted pink is a perfect neutral color that can be worn year round.
