Yesterday I wore this yellow cardigan and gray sleeveless blouse (both were purchased from J. Crew several years ago) with a simple black skirt from H&M. I think a lot of petite women shy away from long sweaters, blouses, etc., but I think this one works well with the length of the skirt. The blouse is one of my favorites. Its ruffled collar makes it stand out, but its neutral color works well with many of my colorful pieces (or even just a pair of skinny jeans and flats). To finish the look, I went with my silver flats by Elizabeth and James (purchased on theoutnet.com) and silver knot earrings from Tiffany.

For work today, I wore an olive green sequin tank, beige cardigan and black Pixie pants, all from J. Crew. The tank and cardigan have nice detailing, yet have a very effortless feel to them. As always, the Pixie pants flatter nicely and tie everything together. All my jewelry today is from Forever 21! I wanted delicate gold pieces to match the gold Tory Burch Reva flats, so I picked these small triangular earrings and modest rings. This week I'm wearing Luxedo by Essie nail polish, one of my faves!

For work today, I wore this raspberry-colored blazer from H&M, with a Deletta tank from Anthropologie and a navy skirt from ADAM by Adam Lippes (purchased on theoutnet.com). The blazer is beautifully tailored and falls in the right place. I thought the bright color would be perfect for early spring, and it works well with the neutral palette of the outfit. The blouse has beautiful detailing without being too busy. To finish the look, I went with my gold Tory Burch Reva flats

For work today, I wore this blouse by W118 by Walter Baker (purchased on Gilt about a year ago), with a black 7 For All Mankind stretchy skirt and H&M suede pumps. A loose blouse/tight skirt combination is always flattering. The slit adds a nice touch and is not too high for work. I chose these Cynthia Rowley tights because I thought the dot pattern would look cute with the dotted shirt. As always, the simple suede pumps were an appropriate finishing touch.
