For work on Tuesday, I wore a polka dot tee from Forever 21 and a black knotted skirt by Aqua. The shirt is very comfortable and versatile. It was a great find at only $10! The skirt is great if you want an all-black skirt with something extra. It's also very flattering, because it brings attention to the waist. I thought a nude sandal would look good against the black and white, so I chose these nude sandals by Maiden Lane (purchased on Gilt). The nail polish is Watermelon by Essie.

For work yesterday, I wore this black sleeveless blouse from H&M, J. Crew pixie pants and J. Crew color block jacket. All three pieces are favorite staples of mine. The jacket looks great open or closed and has a Chanel feel to it. Both the blouse and pants are super versatile. The blouse is the perfect length in that it can be worn tucked in or loose. To finish the look, I chose a simple pair of H&M flip flops (not too casual), with rhinestone earrings from Forever 21 (no longer available) and my favorite unisex watch

For work today, I wore this linen v-neck tee from J. Crew, skinny jeans by AG (purchased on Gilt) and spiky flats from Aldo. The comfortable, casual tee sits like a blouse because of the way the fabric drapes. The jeans are super comfortable and, as usual, I folded them under for a neater look. The flats have a fun edge to them, and their soft neutral color makes them so versatile. Plus, I love the pale pink against the white and navy palette. My red nail polish (Fifth Avenue by Essie) provides the perfect pop of color. All in all, the outfit contains multiple staple pieces that provide an effortless feel without being too staid.
